Kerry Consulting works closely with a Singapore-based renewable energy company. They play an active role in the development of onshore renewable energy projects in the solar and wind sectors. As part of their rapid expansion plan, they are looking for an experienced APAC Legal Manager to join their team to assist with mergers and acquisitions, as well as project financing. They work closely with external consultants in the region and are the point of contact for all legal matters or disputes. They also help the organization address compliance issues to ensure that appropriate governance and maintenance standards within the organization are met. They are also responsible for managing the team throughout the region. In this role, which reports directly to the APAC Director General, you will advise on all trade matters and work closely with the APAC management team on project development issues. His legal advice includes joint development agreements/project acquisitions on brownfield and new projects, negotiating condition sheets and supporting the company with project financing. To succeed in this role, you must be a qualified lawyer with at least 10 years of PQE. You must already have experience in the field of renewable energy or experience in legal issues related to projects. Candidates from private practice with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
